05/01/2003 - Horizon Services Selected as Top 100 Logistics Information Technology Provider
Dallas, Texas, May 1, 2003 – Horizon Services Group, Inc., a provider of global logistics and supply chain execution technology, has been named a Top 100 Logistics Information Technology Provider by Inbound Logistics magazine. The 2003 list was published in the April issue of the magazine, which features its annual review of the best Logistics IT companies.
In making their decision, Inbound Logistics' editors compared and researched more than 300 Logistics IT companies, from the largest, most well known companies to smaller niche providers. The main criterion in the magazine’s evaluation process was IT solutions that best met diverse customer needs. "To be named to this prestigious list, logistics technology providers must excel within their market segment by delivering innovative offerings and measurable value to their customers," said Felecia Stratton, editor of Inbound Logistics. "
"We’re obviously honored to have been selected by Inbound Logistics as a Top 100 Logistics IT provider," said Duncan Wright, strategic sales and development for Horizon Services Group. "This award is a clear validation of our ongoing success with NetCaptain® and other technologies making it easier for our shippers to do business with us. It’s especially satisfying that we are the ONLY ocean carrier IT department listed and seeing us alongside companies such as i2 and Manugistics.
